ABC URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL | Crafts, Design and Street Art
This year’s ABC Urban Arts Festival took place in Amsterdam at the Spui-square in front of the American Book Center. Booths packed with artists, crafters, authors and designers were set up showing current work as well demonstrations, workshops and live creations. A nice sunny Saturday full of great work and creative people. More info and photos after the jump, and make sure you take a look through the artists’ websites…

Spui 12, Amsterdam

Autobahn | Stone Carved Tweets. I missed the chance to find out more, but it was pretty sweet to see him working live.

Laura Amiss | A mix of textiles and illustration, different fabrics sewn in layers onto illustrated prints and canvas.

The Ladies Fancywork Society | Yarn Bombing: The Art of Crochet and Knit Graffiti by Mandy Moore and Leanne Prain

Marie-Louise Plum| Masks designed and illustrated by the British illustrator.

Donna Wilson | The author of The Knitted Odd Bunch, live with the odd-bods themselves.

Kate Bingaman-Burt | The colourful booth was packed with buttons, pens, cards and more up for grabs. Check out her book, Obsessive Consumption: What Did You Buy Today?
